What is the holy place in bahai faith?
There is more than one in the Baha’i Faith. On the northern slope of Mount Carmel in Haifa is the Shrine of The Bab; on the Plain of Sharon near the ‘fortified city’ of Akka (Acre) is the mansion of Bahji, the resting place of Baha’u’llah. Holy places of pilgrimage in Persia, origin of the Faith, have been destroyed by the Iranian government since that country’s revolution in the 1970’s.
