What is the Holton Community Center (HCC)?
It is a non-denominational, no-profit, Christian center that will provide for those in need through compassion, understanding, and assistance with food, clothing, and other resources. The Holton Community Center is a project of area churches and community volunteers, working together to be ‘the Hands of Christ to the Holton community’. When is the Center open? Tuesdays from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. As resources and volunteers allow, this schedule may increase. Who is involved? The HCC seeks volunteers from area churches, and the community at large, both for its Board and its ministries. Currently, we enjoy participation from Blue Lake Community, Cedar Creek Covenant, Cornerstone, Sanctuary, St. Michael’s, and Holton United Methodist. What type of ministries are offered and to whom? The HCC currently offers a food pantry and a clothing pantry. Shortly, it will begin classes in budgeting, parenting, Bible study, and more. We serve clients from with
