WHAT IS THE HOLIDAY BALLET?
The buzz around the studio is that we will be performing a Christmas Recital. Yes, this is true. Miss Shannon has added a second performance for the dancers here at the studio. In years past, we have had sign-ups for the holiday performance, but have had little luck with the outcome. So this year, I will have all the dancers participate in performing “The Nutcracker” without having those extra rehearsals. Look for the list of the class parts your dancers will perform in 2 weeks. We will start learning our parts in ballet class in October! Who will be Clara! Find out soon… The holiday performance will be held on Sunday, December 20th, 2009.
This year’s Rockette Holiday show is in less than two weeks away. As this is a much smaller performance and does not require an extra studio rehearsal. All tap classes have one number that they are participating in. Costumes will be passed out next week during our class time. If it requires you to supply a costume piece, you will know before you leave class this week. Now lets take a look at the schedule for “The Rockette Holiday Review”.
