ABS thermoplastic piping systems were introduced in the Middle East in the late 1970s. In fact, Tyco Water has chilled water installations dating from those periods, which are still operational till today. Over the past 30 years, Tyco Water has been instrumental in promoting ABS pipes and fittings as an alternative product to steel in the HVAC industry. In Dubai, we have done significant ABS installations in major developments, such as Green Community West, Dubai Motor City, Uptown Mirdif and several high-profile projects in Abu Dhabi, such as between the bridges and Al Raha Gardens.
