What is the history of the West LRT?
The West LRT Line was first approved by Council in 1988 based on the study “West LRT Update Functional Study – Volume 3”. In 2006, the Transportation Department conducted a review of the alignment to reflect current conditions and update costs. In November 2007, City Council approved funding to allow the West LRT project to proceed.
