What is the history of the pentacle in the apples?
I’m not quite sure what the question is actually asking. Lots of flowers have petals arranged in a symmetrical, pentagonal shape (remember, apples fruits are apple flowers first), so I don’t really get the significance. It could be the apple was chosen for the Eden story as a suppression of the feminine (since it is Eve who sins first), for symbolic reasons like the one you mentioned. Though the relationship between the apple seeds’ arrangement and the pagan pentacle are likely coincidental at best (considering nature tends to operate under somewhat geometric rules, see crystals). Unless I’m completely missing the point of your question.
