What is the history of The New Testament Gateway?
The New Testament Gateway began in 1997 as a “Useful Links” section on my homepage, largely for teaching purposes. By 1998 this section had grown big, so I loosed it off from the homepage and called it “Recommended New Testament Web Resources”. This proved to be a bit of a mouthful and in 1999 it became first “New Testament Web Resources” and finally The New Testament Gateway. During its life, the pages have multiplied and more are planned in the future. The site has evolved as people send me suggestions for improvement and as I notice holes that need filling.
