Meal assembly is a relatively new concept that started in the US in 1999. There are now several thousand meal assembly businesses around the world, both independent (like the Dinner Factory) and chains/franchises. Meal assembly only came to Canada about 3-4 years ago and there are already over 50 businesses like this in Canada! Helping busy people make healthy meals with a minimum effort is something that the world appreciates!
