The Calip Al Mamoum of Baghdad, around 820 A.D., hired an army of workers to dig through the stones of the pyramid to enter it. Instead of finding treasures or writings, they only discovered a coffin made of marble in the king’s chamber, which is one of three chambers in the Great Pyramid.
