What is the history of The Fedora Lounge?
MK created The Fedora Lounge in May 2003 and says about those days: “In the beginning we had a funky board on Ez-board. There were just a handful of us and we developed the categories and worked on the look and feel. I like many aspects of the Golden Era, but I am a really big fan of film noir, especially Bogart and Ladd. The blueprint we followed was an old world gentlemen’s club. A classy place where you can discuss issues of the day in a civilized way over brandy and a good cigar.” By August of 2003, The Fedora Lounge had grown to a hundred members or so. MK could tell that the place was catching on, so he invested some dough and time, bought the relevant domain names and created a professional and robust board with vbulletin to provide more control and stability.
