Around the country, some FCA Power Camps attract up to 1000 kids per day. Here in Eastern Iowa, we started small in 2006, offering basketball and soccer only, with 65 students attending a one-day event at Cedar Valley Christian School. In 2007, we had 300 over two days. In 2008, our FCA Power Camp was cancelled because of the flooding in the Cedar Rapids area. Our goal is to build the Power Camp in the coming years, expanding the number of different sports offered, and perhaps increasing the camp to three, four or five-day experience. Our goal in 2010 is to cater to a minimum of 400 kids each day (600 total). • What are some of the goals of the FCA Power Camp?
