WHAT IS THE HISTORY OF THE AACC BRIDGE PROGRAM?
A. The college Black Student Success Team met seven years ago to develop programs to support students who often come to school under–prepared based on their college placement scores, high school experience or may be the first in their family to complete college and who are enrolled in Anne Arundel Community College for the upcoming term. They developed this particular program to focus on issues related to Black/African American student achievement.
