What is the history of strep throat?
Strep throat is a bacterial infection in your throat and tonsils. The throat will get irritated and inflamed causing sore throat. It was created in the 17th century. Pathologist traced the bacteria through reviewing medical accounts of other diseases; the other diseases included scarlet fever, nercotizing fasciitis, and streptococcal toxic shock syndrome.
