What is the history of SNOMED CT?
SNOMED CT is considered to be the most comprehensive multilingual health terminology in the world. It was a joint development of the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK and the College of American Pathologists (CAP). The international clinical terminology was created in 1999 by the convergence of SNOMED RT and the United Kingdoms Clinical Terms Version 3.
