Quivira Internal Medicine was founded by physicians that previously practiced at Kenyon Clinic. The Kenyon Clinic was founded over 35 years ago and grew into a multi-specialty clinic. In April 2000, the internists of the Kenyon Clinic formed Quivira Internal Medicine. In June 2008, Drs. Martin Buckman and Thomas Barnett also joined the practice. Promoting traditional values, while providing contemporary care continues to be the main goal of the physicians.
