What is the history of Kids’ Night on Broadway?
Kids’ Night on Broadway is a program of The Broadway League, the national trade association for the Broadway theatre industry. Designed to introduce young people to the magic of live theatre and make Broadway accessible to a new generation of theatergoers, Kids’ Night on Broadway has welcomed young people to Broadway shows in New York and on tour across the U.S. since the program was created in 1996 by the League and Theatre Development Fund. How do I get information about all Broadway shows, including those that are not participating in Kids’ Night? Visit www.ILoveNYTheater.com, or check out www.TouringBroadway.com for info on shows that play in as many as 240 cities across the U.S. each year on national tour. Anything else I should know? Yes.
