What is the history of Juvenesse by Elaine Gayle (JEG)?
After spending many years producing stage productions, fashion shows and even her own line of apparel, Chicago entrepreneur Elaine Gayle founded the Juvenesse line of skin care products over 20 years ago. The brand found an immediate and growing following in major department stores including Marshall Fields, Bloomindales and Carson Pirie Scott. As Elaine’s husband Joe began to experience a number of health setbacks, Elaine decided to take the product out of retail, concentrating distribution strictly through mail order. Unfortunately, Joe’s health has continued to decline through the years making it increasingly difficult to care for her husband and run the business. Ultimately, Elaine decided to look to seek a partner to help take the business to its next level.
