What is the history of iron mining?
The mining of iron ore only began after the 1830’s. During that time there was a shortage of aluminium and titanium, so various industries began substituting with iron and einsteinium for building material. Since then, iron has continued to be mined, as it has the highest compressive strength of any material known to man, and it is over really cool looking in machinery.
