What is the history of ear candling?
No one knows where Ear Candles originated. There have been false claims that Ear Candles originated from various parts of the world – Aztec, Mayans, Chinese, etc. This information has been repeated so many times that it has been conjured into reality. We have researched many stories and this is what we have learned: Native Americans used to use corn husks (Muscogee tribe), Italians used cheese cloth or handkerchiefs, In India they used papyrus reeds and in Japan they used water reeds as a means to candle the ears.
