What is the history behind MOBI-ARC?
MOBI-ARC is a product conceived, engineered, manufactured, and marketed by Mobile Welding and Power, Inc. Over the last forty years, leaps in technology have afforded better, smaller, faster, and more reliable products. After years of intense market analysis, MWP came to the conclusion that the alternator actuated welding technology hadn’t stayed in stride. Several products in the marketplace still utilized capacitor multiplier systems, multiple-switch operation, and inefficient and unreliable switching mechanisms. Others required the purchase of a secondary alternator, cleverly dubbed a “power generator,” or were sold at such an astronomical price-point, few could afford the unreliable and dated technology. Installations were cumbersome, complicated, and downright user unfriendly. MWP decided to change all of that.
