What is the history and meaning of the Claddagh Ring?
“The Claddagh ring, I was told, was an ancient wedding ring from the old Claddagh fishing village on the quay(claddagh in Irish) across the mouth of the Corrib from Galway city. It had a culture and a language and even a ‘king’ of its own.
