What is the hippie movement and why was it such a significant event in history?
There was nothing significant about it. It was about a bunch of cowards that run to Canada or Mexico, burned their draft cards, created a lot of confusion. While the rest of us served our country and died for their freedom. I busted a few of their noses when I got home after two years in the jungles and was proud of it. I gave two years for their freedom to be spit on by them when I got home, with two bullet holes in me and leaving 21 of my buddies buried in foreign soil. The Hippies are still around by another name the “Rainbows” they live in the Northern Nevada desert and get kicked out of most states they travel to.
