What is the highest possible FPS of an airsoft gun?
You can get a classic airsoft gun going around 1040 fps, but that’s using unregulated CO2 and has the possiblity of shattering some subchambers. Not to mention that your barrel recoil assmbly as well as some of your o-rings will blow out of the gun. Some guns are custom built to take these kinds of pressures so they will be more reliable at lower PSI’s. This FPS is potentially lethal in the neck area, where there isn’t much skin or muscle and there are several important arteries, but it answers the question. It’s also very hard, and dangerous to build a gun to that specification.
