What is the highest point on earth that you can reach by car?
The highest road (therefore the highest place accesible by car) on Earth is the Manali-Leh route (300 miles) just north of Lahore in the Indian Himalayan mountains. It crosses four high passes which range in height from 14,000 to 18,000 feet. At Leh, the Khardung La, claims to be the highest point.
