What is the highest level a character can achieve?
No limit, but practically speaking, if you stayed with one role through the whole game, you might reach the 40-50th level range. Most players will find it advantageous to change classes from time to time. A typical character might end up as an 8th level Rogue and a 12th level Ninja and a 10th level Paladin and a 16th level Bard.
