Fighting fleas is awful. Luckily I haven’t had to do it in nearly 10 years and I hope I never have to again. To get rid of them you practically have to declare all out war. But last time I had to do it this was my plan of attack: • Arrange a place where you and the critters can stay for a few hours • Spray pet bedding with flea spray and then wash it thoroughly and place it outside or in a container fleas can’t get into • Get a cup of water and put some soap in it, any liquid soap will do • Flea comb the animal until you can’t find any more, depositing the fleas in the cup of soapy water to kill them (make sure the water isn’t sudsy though since the bubbles will keep the fleas from sinking) • Wash the animal thoroughly with flea shampoo still combing with your cup of soapy water, or take them to the vet/groomer for a flea dip and then flea comb then again when you pick them up • Immediately take the animal out of the house… in a carrier or something • Get rid of any pet bedding that
