The switch is not designed for loudness, rather, it’s meant to adjust the sensitivity of the alarm for your pet and home. The HI switch detects smaller vibrations than the LO switch, so you should choose that for optimum performance. If the alarm is picking up vibrations and setting off when you’d prefer it wouldn’t, select the LO setting. If you have any questions, please consult the Tattle Tale Instruction Manual.
