What Is the Height of a Regulation Volleyball Net?
Volleyball originated in the United States in 1895. Two teams of 6 players each stand on either side of the net and try to score points by hitting an un-returnable ball–without a foul–to the other team. The ball must be touched no more than three times before sending it back over the net to the opposing team. Scoring is best of five sets, with each set having 25 points.
