What is the Heartland Expressway?
The Heartland Expressway is one of 43 Federally designated, high priority corridors1. When completed, the Heartland Expressway will provide multi-lane, divided highway access between Rapid City, SD and Denver, CO via Alliance NE, Scottsbluff, NE and Brush, CO. The Heartland Expressway serves as a key segment in the “Great Plains Trade Corridor” as it connects to the Ports-to-Plains Trade Corridor at Limon, CO and the Theodore Roosevelt Expressway in Rapid City, SD.
