What is the Hearing Loop System?
The Hearing Loop System is a wonderful sound system that is available to almost any hearing aid user. It allows a hearing aid user to directly connect with the sound system in a public facility and virtually eliminates ANY background noises that would otherwise interfere with your listening experience. All you need is a telecoil or “T” program in your hearing aid and you have access. The Hearing Loop is installed in theatres, airports, museums, churches, arenas and is very prevalent in West Michigan – that is why we offer a tcoil to everyone who gets a hearing aid from us at no additional charge! Some people even install them in their own homes to better enjoy the TV and stereo.
