The Health Services Appeal and Review Board (the Board) is an independent, adjudicative Board. It is not part of OHIP or any other part of the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. The Lieutenant Governor-in-Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care, appoints the members of the Board. The members include health care providers, lawyers, social workers, business people and others. The Boards members are appointed to serve on a part-time basis.
