What is the healing and recovery time and when can I go back to work?
There will be mild swelling of the area for 24 – 36 hours. For eyeliner, eyes may look red and puffy. Brows will look slightly larger but there will be minimal to no swelling. Lips will look puffy and full, as if you’ve had collagen injections. The colour will be darker for 4 – 5 days. There will be a light flaking of colour revealing the permanent colour under the skin which is a softer tone than the initially applied colour. Most people can go back to work the next day. I always suggest that procedures are not done just before a wedding or other important social events.
