In head-to-head scoring, instead of accumulating standings throughout the year, in terms of who’s in first place in categories like home runs or RBI, you play against a different team in your league every week and you get a win or you get a loss. For players that know fantasy football, this if kind of like a fantasy baseball version that’s a little more like fantasy football, because you get a win and a loss every week. In terms of how you get the wins and the losses, you’re still using the same categories. It’s usually eight to ten categories and whoever wins more categories between you and your weekly opponent will get the win for that week. Let’s say you win all the hitting categories and one pitching category, you’re going to get the win for that week.
