What is the Hartford Faculty Scholars Program?
This two-year program provides: • Faculty development institutes and workshops several times each year addressing topics of importance to aging and health care in America • Research, including assignment of a nationally recognized mentor to assist in the research and career development • Participation in an ongoing community of peers and mentors seeking through their own development to advance knowledge and practice to improve the nation’s health and the profession. VA scholars will participate fully in the curriculum that has previously been available only to faculty in academic appointments.
