Power up while holding the STORE button. When the word RESET? appears on the display, let go of STORE, then press and release the MODE button. The unit will reset and ask for a pedal calibration. Put the TOE DOWN, then press and release the flashing footswitch. Then put the TOE UP on the pedal, and press/release the flashing footswitch.
