The HandiHaler is an inhalation device that has been specially designed for use with SPIRIVA capsules. It must not be used with any other medication. Taking your dose of SPIRIVA requires four main steps: open, insert, press, inhale. SPIRIVA is for oral inhalation only. DO NOT SWALLOW SPIRIVA CAPSULES.
