When George Bialecki Jr. was approached by the Future House Real Estate Company to participate in the Future House Community Project, he knew that he could take his tried and true Home Biology 101 building method and use it as the basis for the Future House USA. Home Biology 101 is an approach based on five guiding principles: Energy Efficiency, Indoor Air Quality, Storm Water Management, Reduced Water Consumption, and Recycling. This ‘demonstration home’ offers a design that would minimize construction site waste, as well as reduce toxicity of the materials used in building the house.
