What is the guaranteed transmission efficiency?
When the fiber is correctly aligned using the 4-axis manipulator and with the appropriate optical design the minimum guaranteed transmission is 65%. However, this is frequently as high as 75% with high quality (low M squared) lasers. All systems are 100% tested to ensure they meet the specified parameters and that when installed; you achieve the same levels of performance. In order to guarantee this however, it is imperative that we are aware of the details of the laser system you are using.
