The GroupWise “junk mail” folder is a feature of GroupWise which allows users to have certain categories of messages from the Internet automatically go to this folder instead of the general inbox. Users need to setup junk mail handling using the GroupWise “client” from a law school computer. It cannot be setup over GroupWise “webaccess”. In the GroupWise client, click “tools” then select “junk mail handling”. Users can opt to have just messages from Internet senders on a “junk list” go to junk folder and/or users can opt to have all messages from Internet senders that aren’t in their personal address books go to the junk folder. The junk folder can be set to auto-delete messages on a faster timetable than regular mail. Users can also enable a block list to auto-delete messages from some senders immediately.
