What is the Greenway Heritage Study?
To build on the success of the past nearly 20 years, the Greenway Heritage Study has been launched to build a framework for the future of the Greenway for decades to come. It will provide a forum for diverse interests to devise strategies for the integration of conservation, efficient management, and economic prosperity moving forward. Two key documents will be produced from the findings of this study: a Cooperative Stewardship Framework, created in a collaborative process involving Working Groups; and a Feasibility Study that will provide insight on the possibility of pursuing a National Heritage Area designation for the Greenway.
