What is the GreenCart program?
The GreenCart program is like a Blue Box for your kitchen scraps. Kitchen food scraps (including meats and bones), and compostable paper products such as paper towels, tissues, coffee filters, and more are collected at the curb in the GreenCart, instead of in a regular garbage bag. The GreenCart material will be taken to a central composting facility in Hamilton to be made into compost.
