The Law Enforcement Personnel Dependents Grant, or LEPD grant, is for dependents and spouses of California peace officers, correctional officers and firefighters who were killed or totally disabled in the line of duty. Grants range from $100 to $11,259 a year, for up to four years. If you are eligible to receive an LEPD grant you may also receive a Cal Grant, other grants, or a fee waiver.
