The Graduation Mathematics Competency Exam (GMCT) is offered to students who are ready to graduate and have not fulfilled the SRJC math requirement for an Associate Degree. The GMCT is offered during the Math and Chemistry placement tests. Photo identification is required. A score of 24 out of 40 is required to pass this exam. The GMCT is not transferable, and does not apply to the SRJC math sequence. Students who do not achieve a passing score will be allowed to retest in the following Fall, Spring, or Summer term.
