What is the “Graduation Guarantee?
The College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Engineering and Applied Science both have a four-year graduation guarantee program for freshman students entering directly from high school. Students must have met all minimum academic preparation standards (MAPS) before their first semester at CU-Boulder and must follow the defined criteria set by each college. If an eligible student who has met all the criteria is not able to graduate within four years due to scheduling difficulties, the university will pick up the bill for any further study required to complete the degree.
