What is the GPA need to get into University of Texas at Austin?
If you’re not Top 10% of your High School, give up. Or, you can apply, and if you have a good GPA but wasn’t in the Top 10%, they give you the option to take the Coordinated Admissions Program, KNOW AS “CAP.” If you do choose to take CAP you will have the choice to go to one of several University of Texas-based schools. You do have to maintain a 3.2 GPA or higher based on classes they allow you to take. They have a list of CAP specific classes that have to be included in your college career. If you fail CAP (under 3.2 GPA), you can go transfer to a school that will accept your coursework for your freshman year, or you can stay at the specific university where you decided to take CAP. However, if you do pass, you get your dream of attending the REAL University of Texas- Austin. So study during freshman year if you take this route.
