What is the governance structure of Indian Institute of Information Technology & Management- Kerala?
The Indian Institute of Information Technology & Management – Kerala (IIITM-K) has been set up by the Government of Kerala under its Information Technology Department in the year 2000. IIITM-K’s Mission is to be an institution of excellence in education, research, development, and training in basic and applied Information Technology and Management and to be a leader in educational networking and services provider for higher education and professions. The Institute is driven with vision and direction by a Board of Directors constituted by the Government of Kerala comprising a team of accomplished and eminent persons from academia, IT Industry, Research and Development and Administration. Shri S Gopalakrishnan, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, Infosys, Bangalore is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors, IIITM-K.
