What is the Gordon Rule requirement?
• The Gordon Rule applies only to the A.A. degree. • This rule requires that you achieve “C” grades in all English and Math degree requirements. • It also requires you to complete 12,000 words of writing in addition to the 12,000 words you complete in your two required English courses. • This can be fulfilled by taking four optional writing courses for 3,000 words each. (Note: A third English Composition course can be used to fulfill 6,000 of the 12,000 words.
