What is the Google Print Program?
As the premier Internet search engine, Google’s mission is to organize information and make it universally accessible and useful. The Google Print program is an initiative where Google works with book publishers to scan their books and make them searchable online. Through this program, Google users will be able to locate a wide variety of books when they search on their topic of interest. Google users will also be able to view an excerpt of any book located during a specific online search. The Google Print Program gives books increased visibility and exposure to a broader audience. iUniverse was one of the first publishers Google contacted to participate in this program, and we are currently working to set up a weekly file transfer of our newest titles to Google.
