The Golden Crystal appears in the S season of Sailor Moon. It is protected by Elios/Helios who guards it in Ellysion (a sort of dreamworld on Earth). The Golden Crystal is used by Prince Endymion’s family much in the way the Silver Crystal is used by the Moon Family. It is very powerful, which is why Nehelenia wanted it. As far as I know Mamoru/Darien never uses it after Nehelenia’s defeat.
