What is the going hourly rate range for freelance graphic designers these days?

This was selected as Best Answer So many variables; including who are your ideal clients, how good is your work, etc. I’ve had my clients who are graphic designers mostly in the $20 to $75 per hour range. But helped them get to the fee I feel someone good should be at which is more than $100 per hour IF your clients are smaller business owners but not home businesses. That’s the basic rate for any sort of consultants 🙂 But many loose a LOT of their fee because of all the other stuff they do (2 hour consult, etc. etc) of money they’re leaking. No change orders clause in contract, no contracts, etc. etc. One client making $75 was really making $15 per hour! First thing is to create an hourly rate so you can see your worth. Second thing is to move to per project based on value created.
